Simple giftwrap idea for Christmas
Sometimes for Christmas, when it is getting down to the wire, you just need something that is simple and fast. This is one gift that I wrapped with only a few supplies.
Kraft wrapping paper, fox metallic gift tag (similar here), snowflake punch, BARC wood sheet, washi tape (similar here).
I just love to wrap with a solid color gift wrap to have a nice neutral background for the embellishments. Here I used kraft gift wrap, which is probably my all time favorite for this purpose. I had some metallic tags from IKEA from yesteryear and everything else I also just had in my stash. We all have those, right?
The snowflake was punched out of the blond wood paper. I just love how it looks. And that fox tag is just adorable.
Even if you don't have the exact supplies I used, you can still use the general idea of tying string or ribbon around the middle of the gift, and then embellish with something symmetrical in the center of that. Then you can tuck something under that center embellishment like a tag, such as here, or maybe a branch of greenery from the back yard.
Here are a couple other projects, where I used the same snowflake punch.
