I bought that little K-hook a while back through Antique Farmhouse last year some time. For $12. I love the antique feel of it.
Then I had the idea to make a little wreath for it. Here is how I made it:

I made a 6 inch circle out of some 20 gauge wire. I made two rounds of wire and the wound a third round of wire around the first two to make a stable wreath form. I used some forever branches that I had picked up at JoAnn's. For this wreath four stems was the exact amount I needed.

I picked each mini branch off of the bigger branches and using two mini branches at a time. I secured them in a thatched (lag-på-lag <---- don't mind these. I am helping my Mom by translating some of the more technical terms into Danish - hi Mom!) fashion. I used dark green florist wire so it wouldn't be too noticeable.

Repeat, repeat, repeat.

I ended the florist wire by tying it around the last two mini branches 3-4 times, then snipped it with my wire cutters.

I hung the K with two dry wall screws as they are already black, so they were kind of perfect. Then I hung my wreath from the hook. Ta-da.

Ohhhh and this is by the way also the word of the month. Not going to be a slacker (en der fiser den af) like in April. Bet you didn't see that coming?

Take that April!!! And May!!!
I am doing these challenges with Amber over at Wills Casa. Be sure to check her out. She has promised to run around in circles all month. I can't wait to follow that...
