Thanksgiving table with Hama beads napkin rings
Getting ready for Thanksgiving over here.
I made these Hama bead napkin rings for our fall table.
Here is how I made them.
I used white cotton yarn, white Hama beads, a crochet needle and an empty toilet paper roll. I also used a little bit of parchment to put under the beads to I could get them off the roll after baking them.
I cut a slit from the top and bottom of the roll, leaving the middle of the roll intact. Then I put a bunch of white beads onto the white string - enough that it would go exactly 5 times around the roll. I then used the slits to secure the cotton string to the roll.
I made sure the beads where pushed together as much as possible.
Then I put them into my oven at 400F for 8 minutes. I let them cool completely before removing them from the roll.
I used a fresh leaf to break up all the white. The table cloth is from IKEA from last year.

Last year I participated in this challenge as well. I made a felted acorn door hanger.
