Acorn tin - fall craft tutorial
Well, it's September and I am beginning to be in a fall mood. I wonder if that means I am not a stand (up)
Last year, I went a little nutty with this super sized acorn door hanger.
This year I am ready for more acorns. Is the internet and my neighborhood in Blog ville done with acorns? Well, too bad, cause I'm not done with acorns yet.
Jo Ann's had this sale.... That's how many of my projects start by the way - finding supplies at the craft store. I found this adorable tin for a couple of dollars, some acorns on a stick and some faux white peppercorn garland. What's not to love, right?
I gave the tin a quick spray of black, then lined it with a brown paper bag that you can see through the number.
Then I cut some green floral foam to size.
I inserted the acorn branches into the foam.
Then weaved the peppercorn garland around the acorns.
Super easy and quick craft.
This is going to sit outside by my front door.
